About this class
Group classes for every level: beginner (A1), elementary (A2), intermediate (B1) and advanced (B2) classes are held twice a week and last one hour. There are 6 students max per group. Each course lasts about 6 months. With regular attendance and personal commitment to completing the homework, you can go from complete beginner (“Bonjour, merci” level) to intermediate French (able to communicate easily, express your opinion, and exchange information on familiar and routine subjects) in a year.
No Textbook Required, I Provide Everything
I provide you with all materials. A pdf file is sent to each student after each class including all documents (reading and audio materials), and notes taken during the class. Grammar, vocabulary and exercises sheets will be included, as well as homework.
YES there will be HOMEWORK!
An essential tool for you to check if you’ve understood what has been covered in class and for me to make sure you got it! And if you didn’t? No problem! I’m here to correct, repeat and explain again. It’s a 2 people’s job, we’ll work hand in hand each week to make you improve and learn.

Just like my group classes, there’s no need for a textbook in private lessons. All the necessary materials are provided. Following each private lesson, you’ll receive a detailed PDF file containing all relevant documents, including reading and audio resources, class notes, grammar and vocabulary sheets, as well as homework assignments.

Each class lasts one hour. Classes are organized twice a week and both classes are mandatory.
It varies according to the schedule and the holidays but usually one course (meaning one full level) lasts about 6 months.
Yes, there is and it is ESSENTIAL that you do it. On a weekly basis, I can see the difference between students who do the homework and the ones who don’t. I’m not a magician, I’m a guide, a story teller. But you’re the one who does the heavy lifting and the work. Homework is there for structure, repetition and re-use of what has been covered in class. It’s the first step to help you memorize and learn.
Via email. You can write directly on the pdf file I send out or write down your answers on a piece of paper and send me the picture. Everything works! I’ll send you a personalized correction right after.
Yes, the first class is free.
You can pay via regular bank transfer or using WISE or Paypal. I ask for payment at the beginning of the month for the upcoming lessons. Each month, you can decide if you’d like to renew your commitment to the class.
If you miss a class, then it is recorded and I share with you the recording together with the notes.You can do the homework and make sure you understood what we covered. Of course you can email me or whatsapp me your questions!
You don’t need to have a specific level before enrolling in the course because there’s a group for each level. If you’re interested in taking French lessons with me, please contact me to schedule a call. This will allow us to assess your level and guide you to the appropriate class.
Group classes are 25 euros per hour and private sessions cost 65 euros per hour.
I use a various range of textbooks from French general textbooks, grammar books, vocabulary books and communication books. I provide students with the best and the most useful materials from all books via a pdf file sent out after each class. Audios are sent out too.
I offer both! Depending on your budget, your schedule, flexibility and inclination I will direct you to the right class.
The TCF prepartion course is tailored to make you comfortable with the format of the test. The test in itself is not too complicated but the format can be confusing and misleading, I’m here to give you the ropes to avoid common traps, to save time knowing what you have to do right from the start. We’ll practice with fake tests from the first lesson and the written assignment will be completed through the homework.
No, after the free assessment call I will be able to tell you if it is realistic for you to take the test at the time you want to get a certain level. If you are ready linguistically wise and the time frame is realistic enough, then we can start the preparation course.
You just need a computer and an Internet access. Lessons are held on Google Meet which does not require a proper application. Sometimes student join on their phones if they are not home but I would advise to use a computer or at least a tablet so that the screen is bigger and you can see the materials I share more easily.
You fill out the request form online and join the free call meeting I’ll send you. If we both agree on terms and schedule then I’ll sign you in!
Regarding group classes there is no cancellation or refund policy. You pay at the beginning of the month for the upcoming classes and if you miss a class you receive the recording of the lesson together with the notes. As for private sessions, lessons that are canceled less than 72 hours before the session won’t be refunded or rescheduled. If I’m told in advance (more than 72 hours) that you can’t join the class then we can try and reschedule or cancel the class, free of charge. If I have to cancel a class (group or private) for medical or personal reasons, of course it will be refunded or added to your credit.
After successfully completing a course, I can provide students with a certificate that indicates the number of hours of French lessons they have attended and the level they’ve reached. This certificate is not a diploma and cannot replace the TCF or DELF certification tests.
